On-campus accommodation

On-campus accommodation will be available at Emmanuel College (building 36D map ref. E13 on the campus map). The conference organising committee has arranged a block reservation which will be available to conference delegates until the early-bird registration discount deadline of 9 May 2008. After that the availability of rooms cannot be guaranteed.

Emmanuel College offers single college rooms with shared bathroom facilities at $60 per night for Bed & Breakfast or $70 per night for full board. The rooms contain a single bed, desk & chair, shelves and cupboard.

The College can provide an internet account for $10, which allows access to the net and 350MB of download quota. An ethernet cable is required to access the network from the room. If you don't have one with you it can be provided by the College for $7.

Parking is available for residents within the College grounds. Vehicle details are to be registered when delegates check in to the College. Please read the section on campus parking below to help you avoid an unpleasant surprise.

Off-campus accommodation

Campus parking

Delegates staying off-campus need to know that only paid parking is available on the campus from 7am to 9pm on weekdays. A transport and parking guide is available from the UQ web site on the following page: Transport and parking.

Please note that parking is restricted to 2 hours in streets around the UQ St lucia campus.

Delegates staying at Emmanuel College may park within the College grounds if they register their vehicle details at check-in.
