How to get to Lincoln University

Lincoln University enjoys a rural setting on the Canterbury Plains less than half an hour from Christchurch, the largest city in the South Island of New Zealand.
Lincoln University is a quick 25 minute drive from Christchurch airport and the many popular tourist and recreational attractions of Canterbury. You can travel from the airport by car, taxi or shuttle. You can even catch the number 81 bus from central Christchurch that will take you right out to Lincoln University. Find us on Google Maps
Transport
You can get to Lincoln University by bus, car or bicycle. If you live in the township you could even walk.
Parking
If staying on-campus, there is ample parking near the Halls of Residence (see #56 on the campus map). If staying off-campus, conference parking will be available in Orchard Carpark (see #28 on the campus map) – The entrance is from gate 3 on Springs Rd, past the roundabout.
Bus
The No 81 bus from Christchurch Bus Exchange travels along Riccarton Road and stops on-campus just inside the university's main entrance (near the George Forbes Memorial Building, see #2 on the campus map).
